About me
Inara Scott is the Senior Advisor for Strategy and Innovation and Professor of Business Law inthe College of Business at Oregon State University. As Senior Advisor, she leads strategicplanning and high-impact innovation initiatives, including AI integration. Inara’s primaryteaching and research areas at Oregon State University include sustainable business, businesslaw, and environmental law and regulation. Her research has appeared in numerous premieroutlets, including the American Business Law Journal, Harvard Environmental Law Review, andthe University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. Her work on AI has been featuredin outlets including NPR and Inside Higher Ed. Prior to arriving at OSU, Inara practiced law foralmost a decade. Inara received a J.D. summa cum laude from Lewis and Clark Law School(2000) and A.B. summa cum laude from Duke University (1994).
