Yusuf is an educator, equity strategist, and organizational leader committed to challenging the myth of neutrality in education. As President of ORABSE and a facilitator of equity-centered professional learning, he works with district leaders and educators to examine how power, policy, and practice shape outcomes for historically marginalized students.
Drawing from his own journey—from graduating high school with a 1.9 GPA to earning a master’s degree and leading equity-focused initiatives—Yusuf brings both lived experience and systems-level insight to conversations about justice in schools. His work explores the intersection of AI, institutional power, and educational equity, pushing leaders to move beyond surface-level inclusion toward intentional, structural change.
